About S. S. Mota Singh School

S.S. Mota Singh Model School, Janakpuri, was established in 1976 under the vision and leadership of its founder Chairman, Sardar Prithipal Singh Bhasin. Beginning from a modest temporary structure in Narang Colony, the school grew steadily and moved to its permanent campus in A-4C Block, Janakpuri, in 1981. The institution carries forward the legacy of S.S. Mota Singh Khalsa Higher Secondary School in Nila, Pakistan, and the educational and philanthropic values associated with Sardar Mota Singh Ji.

The school emphasizes quality education along with traditional moral values, nurturing qualities such as integrity, honesty, initiative, self-confidence, emotional strength and sincerity. Its academic programme offers Science, Commerce and Humanities streams at the senior secondary level, supported by modern facilities, qualified teachers and a well-equipped learning environment.

S.S. Mota Singh Model School believes in integrating academics with co-curricular activities to encourage the all-round development of students. Sports, NCC, Scouts & Guides and other activities provide opportunities to build leadership, discipline and teamwork. The annual S.S. Mota Singh Memorial Hockey Tournament, initiated in 1982, is another notable tradition.

With a strong focus on academic excellence, character building and social responsibility, the school strives to prepare confident, self-reliant and capable students for future challenges and meaningful contribution to society.
